Built a twitter client which monitors relevant conversations in twitter and analyze them to enable quick response by the agents. Post were also classified using machine learning algorithms for automated prioritization.

Social referral is an innovative, first in class solution for acquiring new customers utilizing the existing customers by tapping their social network. Prospects were approached when their network activity reflects their interest or need of the enterprise offerings.

- Sentiment analysis dashboard for an Australian bank. Built a dashboard using Infosys HIMI product to fetch customer comments from social channels such as facebook, twitter & blogosphere and reports customer sentiment to product manager.

Duration: Dec 2009 - June 2010 (7 months) - Tool for assessing credit risk using soft data for a major UK bank. Conventionally, hard credit information alone is considered in loan approval decisions. This innovative solution proposes a way to make use of soft data points like social network, relationship and textual data to augment hard data points enabling improved decision making.

Duration: July 2009 - Nov 2009 (5 months) - Dashboard for monitoring traffic in the city. Traffic images from the cams fitted all over the city have been pooled and analyzed for determining the traffic density. Once the density is analyzed, various charts are made from past and present data and reported in a dashboard.

Duration: Apr 2009 - June 2009 (3 months) - Algorithm to measure camber in hot rolling steel. Hot steel rolling in mill may get curvature defect. Automatic steering controls are used to determine the camber and correct the mill to eliminate the defect. Novel algorithm was developed to estimate the camber.

Duration: Jan 2009 - Mar 2009 (3 months) - Medical image CBIR. A system for image search based on image content (shape, texture, and color) along with meta-data had been developed. It assists the radiologists with similar cases from the past to improve clinical decision making, thus enabling case base diagnosis and evidence based medicine.
